Missed the first class again!

And once again I wake up at 8 20 to realize that I have already missed the first class. This is in spite of Surabhi (my flatmate) playing mommy and forcing me to "go to bed" by 12. We have done everything from put 5 alarms to googling how to wake up in the morning, nothing really seems to help somehow. Any suggestions?

I see another TNG coming. (A TNG meaning Term Not Granted which is what happens to people who don't have adequate attendance.)

  1. Well it's more about when you're going to bed, how long it takes to sleep and when you're waking up. If you're too tired when you wake up you won't be able to rush about if you have to. I'd have to suggest getting to sleep even earlier.

  2. Hey!!
Yeah, Ive heard that one before, however with the kind of stuff we have to do its almost impossible to get to bed by 10. And thats how early we would need to sleep to get up by seven without an alarm!!

  4. During high school I had to attend early morning seminary before school each morning at 6:00am. The alarm would go off. I'd go back to bed. My Dad would come in with a little bell, ring it and say "First the bell". I'd keep sleeping. He'd come in again with a glass of water and say "Then the water" and unceremoniously dump it on my head. He only had to do that once. Like Pavlov's dogs every time I heard that bell I was up and out of bed. Maybe your flat mate should invest in a bell.

Just showed her your comment, she agrees, that way we'd both want to be the first to wake up! lol

  5. There's an alarm clock (somewhere online) that won't turn off until you give it the correct answer to a math problem. You could try that ;)
